ABOUT ACACIA PLAY
FARM & NATURE PLAY SESSIONS
Acacia Play provides a safe and nurturing space for children and their carers to come together to play, learn, and grow with a close connection to the outdoors and nature. Our sessions provide the children with the opportunity to interact with farm animals whilst being provided with a beautiful space for imaginative free play and time to explore and create. The mornings are fairly unstructured with a strong focus on the children directing their free play. The morning starts with a morning circle and verse and we come together again at morning tea to share in a morning tea verse. Some mornings the children will have the opportunity to enjoy a nature based craft activity or listen to a story. The sessions held at The Paddock in Belmont run very much the same as at Purple Pear Farm with the children provided the opportunity to interact with chickens, however there are no additional farm animals. The adults who attend Acacia Play are encouraging of free play, caring and compassionate.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK
Acacia Play is held completely outdoors, please keep this in mind when deciding to attend. It is suggested that you bring a change of clothes with you for your children as they can get very dirty, wet or muddy. Heavy downpour will cancel a morning however, light drizzle/rain will not. During the summer months it is obviously very warm so please ensure your children have a hat and lots of water, and please consider this when attending with very young babies.
The mornings are suitable for little babies to school age children (5-6) however if any of your children are 12 years or older they may attend but they will need to purchase an adult ticket.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - EACH ADULT MUST PURCHASE A TICKET (this includes children 10 years or older). Tickets are per adult and cover your immediate children. Due to the current climate it is very important that all adults purchase a ticket and all children attending are included in the booking. We need to ensure all people are listed and counted, thank you for your support with this.
CANCELLATION POLICY: we will issue you a refund if we have to cancel a session. If you provide us with more than 48 hours notice of your need to cancel we will issue you a refund. Due to the short notice and the inability to fill your spot, cancellations the morning of will not receive a refund. Thank you for your understanding with this.
